– 1 pound ground beef
– ½ cup heavy cream
– ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
– 4 tablespoons butter
– ½ onion, sliced
– 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– ½ teaspoon arrowroot powder
– 1 cup chicken broth or beef broth
– ¼ cup red wine
2. To a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, break apart and cook until crumbled and brown. Season with salt, Italian seasoning, minced garlic and anise seeds.
