– 1 cup fresh raspberries, blackberries, or sliced strawberries – 1/4 cup monkfruit sweetener or sweetener of choice, divided – 1/4 cup water – 1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

1. Combine berries, 2 tablespoon sweetener and water in a medium saucepan.

2. Bring to boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low. Simmer until berries lose their shape. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
